"I give this place 3 stars, its a nice place with a good amount of room but there are a few issues. Our stay was Monday - Friday, just 2 adults. Pros - lots of room. Cons - no ac. There is a portable ac unit on wheels in the bedroom however, the exhaust vent goes behind a curtain to the window but not outside. There is no way to open the window for the exhaust vent to take the hot air outside so it just pumps all the hot air back into the room. Be prepared to wake up at 7:30am every morning...

"This is a large charming apartment in a 100 year old house. My family lived staying here as the dining an d living rooms are both sizable gathering spots. The bed in the primary bedroom was so comfortable we came home and tried to order the exact same one for our own house. The bathroom is a bit quirky but worked for our family with plenty of towels and good hot water. "Our stay at this place was great. It was everything we needed, plenty big enough, very clean, really comfortable bed. All facilities were good. My contact with the host was good although my first message went to spam and took a little time for a reply, but after that one incident response was quick . Although it is still in salem it is slightly further out we ended up getting an uber a few times. So keep this in mind if you have walking issues. But on the whole our stay was great!!!"

"Super unique! Very walkable to all the fun stuff downtown. I give this place 4.5 stars. My only beef is its terribly expensive for a 1 bathroom and the living room is cool, but uncomfortable.
