"What an awesome stay. We had issues with our prior stay in Tam Coc, had to book last minute. Was greeted by the family. She checked us into our private rooms. Super nice and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and just a short walk to one of the main areas. The breakfast was included in the morning. It was decent. The family was all there helping and it actually brought a smile to my face seeing the babies run around while the adults tended to the propertyand guests. We ended up renting...

"The place is kind of charming because it’s all made of bamboo. However, the view of our bungalow was on the sewer so we didnt spend much time on the balcony. Also, the shower drain was blocked. You know how fun that can be!! Other then that, bed is huge and comfy and staff is helpful."

"I’d been recommended to stay here by my daughter, who had stayed here six months earlier. It’s very central to Tam Coc, just a seven minute walk to all the restaurants etc. I’m pleased I took her advice. I had booked a room for myself, but dorms are available. "

"Highly Recommended – Perfect Stay by the River We had an amazing stay at River View Homestay. The kindness of the family made us feel truly welcome, always attentive beyond just breakfast. The room was spotlessly clean, with a spacious bedroom and an immaculate bathroom. The location is ideal—just 2 minutes from Tam Coc center, yet peaceful by the river, with great restaurants and cafés nearby. A perfect mix of hospitality, comfort, and serenity—highly recommended!"

"Staff is very friendly and very helpful. They gave me a great tour on a moto of the surrounding tourist sites, cooked me delicious breakfast every morning, and gave me some free wine every night. My room was clean, toilet and shower works great, and plenty of hot water. The surrounding city/village is beautiful. They assisted me in booking my next bus to Sapa village. "

"Good location, but quiet. Friendly staff, laundry service available. Large room, Comfortable bed. Working Aircon, hot water but this runs out fast. Room had a strong air freshener smell when we arrived which we had to air out. Otherwise excellent value for money. "

"Unfortunately no one on site when we arrived. Comfortable clean bed. However the place needs a lot of maintenance. Shower head was broken, wardrobe hanger broken, slat on bed surround broken. Bikes offered for free but unusable, broken chains, flat tyres, broken bearings in pedals. We left after our first night to paradise 2 doors down the road. Wouldn't recommend staying here."

"C’était tellement reposant et vraiment parfait. C’était propre, il n’y a pas de mauvaises surprises. Honnêtement pour le prix c’est un très bon endroit, tant au niveau de la tranquillité et de l’endroit où est situé l’hôtel. Le patron est adorable."

"Un accueil parfait et souriant, notre bus est arrivé très très en avance et malgré cela nous avons été accueilli comme des rois avec le petit déjeuner offert ainsi qu’un thé pour nous réchauffer. On nous a même prêté une chambre pour nous reposer en attendant que notre bungalow soit prêt. Les petits déjeuners sont très bons. L’hôtel est très bien situé tout est accessible en vélo. "We absolutely loved our stay at ChezCao Rice Field Ecolodge! The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious, offering a great selection of options. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The view of the rice fields was simply magical. Unfortunately, the cloudy and cold weather meant we couldn’t use the pool, but that didn’t take away from the experience. We highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Ninh Binh!"

Thee place to stay when visiting

"Exceptional hotel, perfect location. Our room was beautiful and the view from my window was spectacular. It sits at the beginning of the road, full of restaurants and bars and many things to see and do. Annie The receptionist was most welcoming and accommodating. She is always running around making sure everybody is happy. "
