We had a wonderful stay at Little Tam Coc. Don’t judge this place by the room rate. We felt it was worth more than what we paid. We were treated like family. The rooms were spacious and the bedding was clean and warm. Check in was quick and easy. We were asked what we wanted to eat for breakfast, Vietnamese or Western breakfast. We chose Vietnamese and they were made and served fresh. They were delicious!! They offer bicycles and motorbikes to drive into and around town. The property is located 5 minutes walk from the touristy food and market scene. Far enough to get some peace if you need it but close enough to where all the action is. It is a family run business run by the SWEETEST people. I’ve read some critiques about the old-fashion locks on the doors of the rooms, but personally we felt that they added charm to the place. It may be challenging for some to accept but it reflects the culture and safety of the area. We were a family of 5 and had been to Tam Coc a few years previous. We did not stay here but wished we did. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area of Ninh Binh. We will definitely return to Little Tam Coc when we have a chance.

Wonderful stay
Very comfortable hotel with charming rooms and grounds. Breakfast(extra for us) was delicious we ordered from the hotel the entire stay Hotel is just around the bend from the busier Tam Coc restaurant/hotel zone, which gave us quieter evenings The hotel manager is amazing very energetic friendly and can’t do enough for you I highly recommend this hotel

This is a beautiful property backed against the mountain. Our room was very spacious with a beautiful terrace looking at the mountain. The stone and wood accents in the room gave a natural feel. It was roomy and had a delightful balcony for my morning coffee. The shower was fantastic and much appreciated after full days in the heat. Our host was very helpful when our limo arrived and left without us.

An excellent choice for beautiful mountain views with balcony. It’s only a five minute or less walk to downtown which gives the the peace and tranquility that you want in Tam Coc, while still having high quality restaurants and services nearby. The staff are so kind and helpful from the daytime to nighttime staff. We will recommend to friends and family traveling to this area. Thank you again for the great experience

This is an absolute 10/10 property!! It is NOT a luxury stay but it is so comfortable and clean and the staff are INCREDIBLE. The manager provided the most friendly, genuine service we have ever experienced. Nothing was too much trouble she had our washing back within 2 hours, arranged tours and transport and made us breakfast every morning. She also doted on our baby and held him so I was able to enjoy my breakfast. We found the Chez Loan restaurant on our last day and wowee the food was sensational and beautiful decor. I highly recommend so you don’t have to walk into town.

Ha and the rest of the staff on the property were all so nice! She made us the most amazing breakfast every morning with delicious fresh fruit! The guesthouse was about a 5 minute walk into the busier part of town. We stayed 3 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!

Jadore! This little B&B is to die for and we will definitely rebook if we revisit in the future. The rooms are charming, very spacious and look exactly as pictured online. The only downside is that there were little nats all over the bathroom floor but that is to be expected in a natural surrounding. The host was so gracious and helpful with scooter rentals and recommendations on day activities. Overall, recommend this stay and a great value!

Lovely stay
I had a very lovely stay here. I will preface that if you are more accustomed to western hotels, you need to be aware that there are some quirks about this hotel that is different but I felt that made the experience more authentic. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and for the most part quiet. The service for the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. I felt they went out of there way to accommodate my needs. It is about a 10 min walk to main area of tam coc. But being a little out of the way made it more peaceful

Definitely worth the money. Nice place that is a little bit out of the way but very easy to travel with a scooter. Bicycles and scooters could be rented at the property at a good price. Room was clean and staff were friendly. Perfect for families.

The location was amazing with lots of cool places to visit. We were offered transportation to our next location in Cat Ba by the staff which was cool but there may have been a little fib about how we would get there. We were promised a private car and got a bus instead. We still made it safe, but not what was communicated. Other than that, the staff was really nice and accommodating and the place was safe and convenient.

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights and loved our stay. Ha welcomed us and was super helpful throughout the stay. She was very kind and her customer service was top notch. She helped book a private car at a reasonable price back to Hanoi at the end of our stay. Our mountain view from the balcony was breathtaking and I like how quiet the area was. Close enough to the main part of Tam Coc, but a great place to come back for rest. There were a few restaurants next door too that were solid options. Id stay here again when visiting Tam Coc :).

Cute space with a feeling of a tropical oasis. Very quiet and lovely decoration. Bed was comfortable and large, outdoor balcony was appreciated with views towards the little river. Staff were friendly and helpful - arranging laundry and drivers for us. Very quick walk to center of town but good restaurants just next door if needed. Walkable to some of the main sights too. Thank you!

Great little hotel in Tam Coc
Great place in Tam Coc. Close to the village with easy access to shops and restaurants via 2 minute bike ride on free hotel bikes :-) clean and comfortable rooms, good breakfast, and very friendly and helpful staff. The only short+coming would be to bring earplugs if you aren't an early riser - Tam Coc is a rural village and the roosters are up VERY early ;-) We didn'tind+ it's part of the ambiance ;-)

Our stay in the Villa was comfortable. Saha was so friendly and welcoming when we arrived. We were three people and the beds were comfortable for Vietnam. They provided free bicycles for us, did our laundry, and arranged transportation when needed. The beauty around the villa was unmatched.

Very pleasant place to stay. Not too far from the very touristy area, but easily accessible by bike (offered by the hotel). Friendly staff and clean rooms. We were disappointed to see that the hotel has a dog on a very short leash, being on the leash all day long, hidden in the garden. We had to ask the owner to take the dog for a walk since we felt so bad for this poor puppy. Overall great experience. We highly recommend. Please go to go this hotel and pet potato ( their dog) for us.

The hospitality of the host was unmatched! She was very helpful and friendly and spoke good English. She was very accommodating in letting us have a late check out as our flight was late at night, even helping us book transportation back to the airport. The complimentary bikes allowed us to explore the surrounding area (Kang Mua hike, Trang-An, Pagodas). The breakfast and fruits provided were delicious and much appreciated. The location had amazing views of the mountains and was far enough from the town to be quiet but close enough to be easily accessible (3-5 min bike, 10-15 min walk). Our first room on the ground floor was infested with mosquitos due to a hole in the window but the hosts generously gave us a new room that was bug-free. The room was generally clean but a little dusty. Overall I have enjoyed by stay here in Little Tam Coc!
