"Lovely hotel in great location in the town centre "

"I enjoyed my overnight stay at Village Watford. It was very accessible from the main roads which is why I booked it in the first place. Check in was good - although there was some confusion regarding check in time. I had been told via prior correspondence that I could check out at 12 but 11 was on the booking - which made for a slightly uncomfortable conversation. Facilities were great! Good choice on menu for the evening and great buffet breakfast. Bed was comfortable and warm on what was a very cold night. Only issue was that I did not have any water when I went to have a shower in the evening. Not a drop - cold or hot - so couldn't brush teeth or shower. It was working in the morning though. Would be helpful to understand why this happened as it wasn't at a bust "shower" time like in the morning. All in all a great stay though!!"

"A very nice hotel with nice grounds, the staff were great and the food better still. The gym is a big plus and is well kept. The room was clean and tidy only let down by only having 2 pillows on a double bed I'd expect 4 but other than that a great stay and I'd stay again."

"Check in was easy and while room was not ready still allowed to check in and mind bags. Room was spacious and comfortable and everything you would need for a one night stay. Definitely recommend "
