"The hotel is fairly new and therefore really modern and clean. There is a spa on site which is ideal after a days walking. The free shuttle bus into the heart of Salcombe is a great idea as the walk does involve a few steep hills although this is how we travelled into Salcombe most days. The hotel is right on the beach and is in a very quiet location. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. If like us you come here in the winter and you want to walk in and out of Salcombe then remember to take a torch...

We regularly stay in Brixham when we are putting the boat and and out of the water or seeing mates and there is some good accommodation in the town but this is now our favourite place. The person at the front desk walked me to the room to show me which keys opened which doors and made sure we were happy with the room. It was definitely above and beyond. The building was older, but it’s England and it was to be expected. The room was clean and bright and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed a wonderful breakfast the next morning. Would definitely recommend. "

"Receptionists are friendly and helpful. When we checked in to the room we found out we can’t able to find the TV remote in the room so we made a call to reception. The hotel staff came in and asked can she have a look first just in case the remote is hiding somewhere else. After few mins, she was able to bring us the TV remote. Air conditioning in the room is adjustable and the next day early morning we got woken up by the garbage truck nearby and realised the window was opened. "
