"The Hotel is approx 2 minutes walk from Torquay train station so very convenient . The foyer , entrance dining rooms bar area, swimming pool area are all excellently decorated in a style suitable for the age of the hotel, Th staff were also excellent. "The apartment itself was well equiped, clean and comfortable though needed updating. It was quite noisy with the sound of both the M5 motorway and railway line closeby with frequent trains passing every few minutes. I would stay again but would much prefer to be allocated an apartment on the other side of the building which would be a lot quieter. I wasn't that impressed with the leisure facilities as I was lead to believe they had recently been refurbished but the sauna area looked very tired...
