"Lovely positioned hotel right on the beach we had a sea view from our room which was really wonderful. The leisure facilities were great too we used the indoor swimming pool and sauna. The food we had in the bar was really good and breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend staying here we will visit again for sure. "

"Hotel was good, but a little tired, our only criticism was that our room never had a visit from house keeping on a daily basis, apparently you have to request it, unfortunately no one told us this. "The hotel was a joy to stay at. The staff are fabulous and Nicole at breakfast was so lovely. The food was really good and would recommend the Argento rose as a perfect end to the day. The bar staff would look after an open bottle for us in the fridge. The rooms were so comfortable and the bathroom was perfect and clean. I am definitely coming back on my next visit to Dartmoor. Thank you to all the staff for creating a welcoming hotel."

After booking, the hotel phoned to say that they were actually closed that night but they could give us the same price at their other hotel, The Palace.
