"Central, good atmosphere , very close to the concert venue. Staff more than helpful. Only issue was that the bar closes at 11:00pm. so we had to go elsewhere for a drink after our concert. "

"Check out on the Hotels.com website says 12:00 noon check out but its 11:00 am, main carpets need cleaning and a little paint in the room wouldn't go a miss Toilet takes required to pump the flush. TV signal on and off. Would stay again even though a few minor points.also first time ever I've seen a insect trap in the room at the side of the Bed and I've travelled the world."

"Lovely place, right in the centre of Holmfirth and across from the picturedome where we went to see a gig. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and breakfast was amazing. Would highly recommend."

"The pub staff were very welcoming,the breakfasts were generous portions and very well cooked.we ate on both evenings and again the meals were very good. The owner who I think was called Laura was extremely helpful with local knowledge about the walking routes that are available and she even let us borrow a map. The area is beautiful and a walkers paradise. We will return to this Inn."

"The room was as you would expect for the money. The major disappointment was the lack of a blind for the skylight which meant the room was very light until quite late and then again from early, a nightmare for trying to get children to sleep."

"My stay at the bull on the bridge, for although the purpose was somewhere to sleep for the night. The room was more than adequate, I found the bed to be very comfortable. The room was clean, even though the room overlooked the Main Street I wasn’t disturbed by any noise. The staff were friendly and if I need to stay in Sowerby bridge again I would stay here again "
