But to my shock, the staff was wonderful, the premises gorgeous and the location was perfect. We had a family bungalow near the pool, and we loved the space. The restaurant was surprisingly good, esp the Green Samui smoothie. At dinner, they bring the tables out onto the beach, so you can eat with the sand under your feet. All in all, it was a fantastic stay and we would definitely come back. "

"We stayed at the Explorar for the last leg of honeymoon trip and it was incredible. The staff go above and beyond and the hotel itself is stunning and the pool was amazing. There are a lot of complimentary activities throughout the week. You can visit lots of temples, elephants and waterfalls easily. The food has a nice variety but also nice restaurants nearby and in Fisherman's Village. Joey and his team at the bar made the best cocktails & drinks we had on our travels. They were so friendly and knowledgeable. We had the best time, thank you! "

"Everything was great about this hotel. When I checked in they took me too my room. It was raining so I turned on the TV. There was no sound from the TV. I called and Maintenance came to take a look. They couldn't fix it. Within 10 minutes they installed a different TV, now that to me is going above and beyond. The staff is incredibly friendly. "
