"We had a lovely stay at The Harp Inn. Conveniently located for the Brecon Beacons national park and Hay in Wye. We stayed in room 2, which was clean , comfortable, and as it was overlooking the river rather than the road, nice and quiet. The owners were friendly and welcoming. Lovely breakfast, good selection of drinks in the pub, and a decent dinner menu. I highly recommend staying at The Harp Inn, we will definitely be back! "

"Lovely Victorian hotel in great location with a steep history. Unfortunately the hotel seems to be in a time warp and not in touch with modern day competition with regards to room quality tv, bed, furnishings. The dining options were extremely close windowed and not flexible. Breakfast was really poor quality with limited choice with many expected food items not bailable or offered. It seemed to be more in line with a seaside bed and breakfast offering rather than what appeared to be a 4 star hotel. We don't regret staying at The Metropole. Just that we were a little disappointed "
