However it is located next to route 40 and the road noise is very much present. The breakfast is minimal with semiluna, bread, jam , cookie and coffee grounds delivered to your room to make yourself. "Le Chatelet is highly recommended. Frankly there is nothing exceptional but the hotel it is very comfortable and well located in the town. We had problems on the first night due to excessive noise but the more than polite staff resolved this problem with ease. Parking is also a problem with this hotel but again the staff were aware of this and solved our concerns. This was a a highly recommend hotel for its comfort and professionalism. "

"The place is beautiful located in an amazing spot with lake view. Getting there is very difficult by car as the ride is really rocky. Upon our entry to the room there was a dirty, wet towel in the bathroom which didn’t feel like a great start. The floor did not feel clean and some parts are were bit old. The room feels a bit cluttered by the design. For the price and location I would say it’s worth the stay."

"Poor experience, with the hotel absolutely empty and a storm, ask to te manager to pay late check out, and told me that they have no personal to clean the room after 1 pm.abd give me 15 minutes to leave At the check in, the hotel was closed, and in have to make a call and leave the luggage outside at the back of the hotel."

"Fairly basic in all respects - but there isn't a lot of choice in San Martin - and it was cheap so adequate for the money. A little bit out from the centre, restaurants etc but reasonably walkable. Room small and basic, breakfast area gloomy - as were staff (surprisingly for Argentina on our other experiences). Very basic breakfast."

"Please book for more than one day. Unfortunately we only had one night and it was not enough. This is a beautifully curated property. Clean, comfortable, artistically decorated with one of a kind views. The heated pool was lovely. The food was delicious. Make sure to book dinner ahead of time is you wish to eat dinner at the hotel. If not, they will call a cab to take you in to town. I hope to be able to return to casa de alto in the future. "
