"An excellent location to say especially if we are lucky enough to get one of the rooms higher up which have better views. Although some distance from town, transport is usually available within 10 minutes. Coffee and a small fridge in the room would make the stay even better."

"Could not ask for better service. The room was as advertised, was quite comfortable, and the jacuzzi worked great. The location is ideal for sightseeing and eating out. Included breakfast choices were delicious and quite adequate. Excellent notifications via WhatsApp. Would HIGHLY recommend this hotel."

"This honestly was the best hotel I think I've ever stayed at, and I've traveled quite a bit! Centrally located before enough away that you can sleep quietly at night, beautiful and local features and decor, anything you could need if you forgot something at home, beautiful volcano views right outside the door, and sister hotel with an incredible pool. Oh, and of course, very affordable. Grateful for my stay!"

"It is a quant quiet place. You would not know you were in the city. Staff is super friendly and helpful. We had an issue when our transportation didn’t show up and the clerk assisted in solving the problem. "

"Lydia and Roy were the quintessential graceful hosts. From the moment we entered, we were made to feel like family and they went above and beyond to take care of us and make us feel comfortable. The room itself was very cute and overlooked a gorgeous garden. Overall, a perfect stay that we would highly recommend to anyone. If we’re ever back in Antigua, we will absolutely stay with Lydia and Roy again. "

"I loved the fact that the property had a very colonial feel/sight to it. The property was within walking distance of the famous Arch, City Center, and restaurants. The area was quite safe, and guests really got a feel for what it must have felt like to live there during the Spanish invasion of Guatemala. "

"I stayed for a couple of hours over night after my flight arrived and again had to leave in the morning (4am) to catch another flight, and it was just what i needed! The host was very accommodating despite my late arrival. I made sure I communicated my times of arrival so she knew what time to expect me, etc. She provided me with arranged transportation (upon request and additional cost) so I felt extremely safe overall.
