"I loved the fact that the property had a very colonial feel/sight to it. The property was within walking distance of the famous Arch, City Center, and restaurants. The area was quite safe, and guests really got a feel for what it must have felt like to live there during the Spanish invasion of Guatemala. "

"Lydia and Roy were the quintessential graceful hosts. From the moment we entered, we were made to feel like family and they went above and beyond to take care of us and make us feel comfortable. The room itself was very cute and overlooked a gorgeous garden. Overall, a perfect stay that we would highly recommend to anyone. If we’re ever back in Antigua, we will absolutely stay with Lydia and Roy again. "

"I stayed for a couple of hours over night after my flight arrived and again had to leave in the morning (4am) to catch another flight, and it was just what i needed! The host was very accommodating despite my late arrival. I made sure I communicated my times of arrival so she knew what time to expect me, etc. She provided me with arranged transportation (upon request and additional cost) so I felt extremely safe overall. "The room was gross. There were bugs and ants all over in the bathroom including the toilet. There were no towels. The linen was not clean. There was no one in charge on the property, the kitchen lady had to call someone to check us in. The kitchen lady also left around 7:00 PM so the security guard got us some towels.
