"Great apartment but the building is undergoing some massive renovation and there was a lot of noise during the day and construction scaffolds everywhere. Both balconies in the apartment had scaffolding out front so we couldn’t use them and had to keep the windows closed. The area isn’t great, typical university type vibe. Didn’t feel unsafe at all, but lots of graffiti. If we go back I’d probably choose a place closer to piazza maggiorie. "

"The host was not clear on a meeting place for entry into the property and apartment. He originally had suggested at the property entrance then changed to a bar next to the property, but we didn’t have network access so the bar rendezvous did not reach us. When we finally did meet, he was very upset with us because he needed to be someplace else. Keep in mind, he did not contact us until 4 hours prior to our check-in time… very stressful."

First, when I first booked it appeared that the property was only 2-3km from the city, in fact it is 5km from the city center which is revealed only after you book. "We really enjoyed our stay here! Great location and our host Roberto gave us great tips on things to see and places to eat! We fell in love with Bologna during our stay. "This is a lovely spot in the hills, the pool a godsend in the scorching heat. The apartment was everything we expected, ideal for a family of four. Great restaurants nearby but sadly lacking a bar/pasticceria that is reaslitically walkable. There seems to have once been one but is now closed down. Ruth and her family were so welcoming and were very helpful and easy to deal with. They left us to it but were on hand if we needed anything"
