"The town of Guiglia is great for anyone wants to explore Emilia Romagna by car but avoid actually staying in the larger towns of Modena or Bologna. We had a variety of experiences in Castelvetro, Modena, and other surrounding towns, and all were fairly easy to access from Guiglia. The property itself is lovely, and the kitchen was well-stocked if you want to cook a few meals at home. "What a great spot! It was great to have lots of space for our family ( parents teens 15 and 18). It was under 20 minutes to walk to the Piazza Maggiorre, but nicely quiet at our end of San Felice. Be aware that the nearest parking is not open on weekends, but there are many options. Francesca was lovely and helpful. "

"This is a lovely spot in the hills, the pool a godsend in the scorching heat. The apartment was everything we expected, ideal for a family of four. Great restaurants nearby but sadly lacking a bar/pasticceria that is reaslitically walkable. There seems to have once been one but is now closed down. "Beautiful traditional Tuscan farmhouse set in lovely peaceful landscape. The house is well equipped with everything you will need. The rooms are all large and airy and, importantly, every window has a mosquito screen. The beds are big, comfortable with nice quality linen and each bedroom has more than adequate storage. "We had a lovely couple of weeks at Jacopo’s house. The house has been beautifully restored and set in an olive grove and vineyards. The house is relatively remote but within easy 10mins drive to towns. A car is essential for a stay at this property. Jacopo was a great host and readily available if we needed him, and gave great tips and advice vice on places to visit. We would definitely recommend and stay again in the future. "
