"Hotel offers free parking at the carpark next door if ypu park in the marked spaces. Easy to checkin online before you arrive, although they did take the payment the day begore which was a bit naughty as it was supposed to be on the day. Comfortable clean room eitb partisl seaview and a bath. However, the bath took ages to fill, and the bed was a linked double and one of the mattresses was higher than tbe other so it was a bit uncomfortable in.the middle."

"We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The staff were extremely courteous, friendly and helpful. The building is about 400 years old so it did creek and shake a bit when heavy vehicles went by, but that was mainly during the day, we were not disturbed at all during the night. It was very clean and the breakfast was delicious and they didn't mind adapting to special requests. We would definitely stay there again. "

"We stayed in Room 8 for four nights and had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was made to order by the chef and was absolutely delicious. The dinners were magnificent – and the Sunday roast was one of the best we've ever had! Everything was made from scratch, with perfectly cooked vegetables and a choice of pork, beef, lamb, or chicken (or even a mix of meats!). "This accommodation was perfect for my partner and I who needed to be in Cheddar with our dog for a couple of nights. The accommodation was as pictured, the shower was hot and powerful, the kitchen had 2 electric hob rings/microwave and fridge. All the required utensils for simple cooking, tea, coffee and sugar . Logs for the wood burner were also provided."

"We didn't receive our check in details, so had a panicked few minutes when we arrived and couldn't get in. Soon resolved. The lodge is very remote along a narrow, twisty, well used road. Lovely views, hot tub was fab, as were the views You could take bikes as a mile or so is access to the Strawberry line, an off road cycle path. Road quite hazardous though so not suitable for small children on bikes.Nice dog walk as cows not out and it was dry.Swimming pool looked nice but was out of season, so...
