"We arrived later than expected but Beth on reception was very welcoming. Easy parking. Shame we didn’t have more time to stop another day. The motel is so close to Flagship Hill and I highly recommend a visit there. Sadly we were time limited. I could have spent at least another hour there. Fascinating. "

"This is a nice base to use when exploring the area. The beach is easily accessed, the indoor pool is good, though a bit warm if you are swimming for exercise, and it is in close proximity to 'restaurant row' in Lorne. The building seems to be well maintained, though is a bit dated. The check in staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is ok. Overall, a good choice for travellers staying in the area for a few days."

"It’s in the middle of nowhere. The staff were good and friendly but not enough to make our stay pleasurable. No WiFi, so if that’s important to you then I do not recommend staying here. Tv was small and old, not working when we were there. You need a car, next town is 32 km away, no place to have dinner near by. But overall, it’s ok, if you don’t mind being inconvenienced at least for one night. "
