"Owls Nest is a quiet, cozy cabin on Deep Creek Lake. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need for a relaxing mountain getaway! They provided us with detailed information about the surrounding area including excellent recommendations for nearby dining, sight seeing, etc. I would highly recommend Owls Nest whether you are a couple seeking a romantic getaway or a family looking for a fun vacation! We had an amazing weekend and look forward to returning! "

"Views are amazing. Cabin is cozy and comfortable. Unfortunately the hot tub was not clean. Didn't want to bother anyone with the weather we were having. Would have been nice if we could have used it, but overall would definitely stay here again. Very close to just about anything you would want to do or need."

"We adored our time in this cute cabin close to Ohiopyle. The beds were comfortable, with plenty of pillows, and we LOVED the hot tub. It's private, and just out the back door - no need to spend too much time in the cold air between inside and the tub. They provided really clear instructions on what was available and what to bring - we were glad to have our extra roll of toilet paper, as they do not provide backup. "Loved the house and the hot tub. Everything was very clean. Comfortable beds, good pillows. Location was great too-- quiet, no traffic, polite/quiet neighbors. We had a maintenance issue the first night but it was promptly seen to by management and we were very appreciative. I might suggest a small vacuum in the place-- the sand and gravel from the area around the hot tub gets everywhere-- but other than that, no complaints. We will definitely be back."

"Stayed here for a few days and it was perfect. We are always around people so we had a wonderful time away from everyone. Perfect kitchen and space for the two of us, plus the neighborhood/street is peaceful and quiet, yet only a few minutes from everything. Loved the hiking trails, restaurants, and breweries nearby. We definitely plan on coming back when the lake isn’t frozen! "

"The place was beautifully built & enjoyable for those who aren’t lord of the rings fans. The host was very communicative & was accommodating to our needs. The area around had amazing nature spots to check out. I definitely recommend booking the place. The only issue we had was the phone service being terrible. But, there is high speed internet."

"Just as described! Very clean and well maintained. In a very quiet and secluded area which is nice. Hot tub worked great! And was nearby to a lot of hikes, waterfalls, and some cute towns to explore! Would love to stay here again in the future! 10/10!"
