"We loved our stay in Topanga! The kids loved sleeping in the upstairs room and playing on the swing. I loved waking up to the sounds of birds and roosters outside. The outdoor kitchen was great and had everything we needed! The bathroom is in an outbuilding and was comfortable and easy to access - I took a bath and watched the trees through the skylight. We miss it already!"

"The park is always nice to visit. What my challenge was at my check-in. Plus my return visit in two months from now is me booking cottage space and being confirmed for it with the photos and in print and upon checking in being given the cabin (older units) that I did not reserve.there is a misrepresentation, glitch, or miscommunications between Expedia and thousand trails. "Property was as described; however we noticed ants upon arrival in the bathroom. We contacted owner who immediately brought some traps. Then on the morning of our departure the ants were all over the kitchen. No open food was left out. Drowned as many as I could in the sink but they were everywhere!"

"Venice Breeze is an older building, but modernized/updated. It was right in the center of everything Venice Beach and a couple mile walk from Santa Monica. If you like the "hippie" or Bohemian culture, you will love this area! Staff was very friendly, and helpful. We did have to park about 8 blocks away to find free parking, or you can pay to park closer. "

"I liked the accessibility to the beach, restaurants and boardwalks. The rooftop view was great! The staff was very friendly! They were prompt to get maintenance when I asked why we didn’t have heat in the room for the first 2 nights and I had 3 cold showers and decided to go to the office about it. The boiler system needs work, for sure. The bathroom sink was slow to drain and there were no towel bars. The elevator was cool! Loved it! I would have loved closer parking, but we managed it. ...
