Jones Pond - Rustic Cabin. One step above camping.

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (106)
"This was a captivating setting. If we were to stay there for a few days, it would have been delightful. As it was, we were driving back from Acadia NP. We just weren’t prudent. We were up for indoor camping and maybe even the wood stove, but elected not to stay after arriving after dark…totally our choice. Another time, it would have been PERFECT. "

Water access house Acadia National Park Schoodic Point

9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (24)
"We had 4 adults and on 4-year old. The house and bedrooms were perfect for our group. It gave us a good base for 3 days in the area - first time on Schoodic Peninsula. Short drive to Bar Harbor for more sights, shopping and eating. Pretty crowded, but manageable. We would do it again! "

Lobster Cottage - Everyone's Favorite Coastal Getaway on Schoodic Peninsula

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (62)
"The view was my favorite part! I would love to stay in the summer when I can sit on either porch or the upper deck and watch the sunrise/set and how the colors on the bay change throughout the day. It is a beautifully maintained home—nicely appointed and decorated. The king mattress is very comfortable! Plenty of pillows, blankets, and towels. The water pressure is amazing. Lots of TVs for those who need one. The wifi was great. It's an excellent spot for a family or girls’ getaway. Great...

Private Bayfront Cottage on 19 wooded acres with Dock on the Schoodic, Sleeps 10

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (14)
"Quiet, quaint, rustic cottage on large property with tons of privacy - couldn’t even see any neighbors from the cottage. We visited in the off-season and there were 6 of us adults with 2 dogs. Beautiful property to sit out on the large deck or by the fire pit. Dogs loved being able to be off-leash, explore the woods, and swim. If you’re looking for a fancy place in a tourist area with lots of dining/drinking establishments, this location isn’t for you, but if you want charm & quiet, this is...

Beautiful 5 Bed Downeast Acadia Home Ellsworth/Bar Harbor Area on Private Rd

9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (8)
"We planned our New England trip by starting off in Bar Harbor to unwind, and that's exactly what we did. Byron's home was the perfect place to unplug and reconnect. We arrived Saturday night from NJ and were up and out Sunday morning by 6am to catch the sunrise and take a Sightseeing cruise. We dined out for breakfast and light lunch but preferred to shop and cook dinner. We were back to the house by 6pm to chill, eat and watch DVD movies provided by our host. Monday morning up and out early, it...

Charming Lakefront House with Outdoor Firepit and Wifi

2.0 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (7)
"This house was wonderful! Clean, easy to find on GPS, even in the dark when we arrived and a very quiet location. The view was beautiful. We saw deer in the backyard and across the lake. We utilized the fire pit on a cool night and enjoyed s’mores with our family. The small touches were thoughtful-mini bottles of shampoo & conditioner, mini bars of soap, coffee available for the coffee maker. Beds were comfortable as well. If we’re ever back in this area, I would definitely stay here again. "
