Of course this is November (off season) so it was VERY quiet, not many stores or restaurants were open, but we knew that. The room could be updated, pretty worn out….bed was very comfortable and the view was to die for !! Best continental breakfast I’ve ever had, Kudos to staff for cleanliness service !

Great location and top notch service from staff. Would definitely recommend. We stayed in the Ocean Lodge and every room has a spectacular view of Bar Harbor. Definitely what you are paying for... Staff was very courteous. The continental breakfast was very generous and all that was needed.

We loved the breakfast. It was a nice mix of fresh fruit, meat, cheese and pastries. The coffee and juice was good too. The pool was beautiful and everything was very convenient to the shopping downtown. I would definitely stay here again!

This place is amazing! We were greeted by friendly and accommodating staff. The location is top notch. The breakfast was great, they even gave me a to go box to put food in for later as I didn’t dare eat before my lobster boat ride. They were so dang friendly and professional. A total resort feel. This is not their fault at all but right outside my ocean view room was a pile of dirt because the walk was destroyed by the storms. It took away from the view and relaxation especially when the bobcat was beeping outside my room at 9 am moving the dirt. Like I said, not their fault and I’m sure they will get it fixed quickly. I will say they sent an email warning me beforehand (after I booked a no refund room) that this would be going on. Even with this, I absolutely loved this place and will return. Thank you Bar Harbor Inn and staff.

Our favorite place to stay in or around Bar Harbor. Attentive and responsive staff, clean and spacious rooms, and an excellent location. We were surprised with great weather Mother's Day weekend and I believe we were the only hotel in the town with an open pool and hot tub. Will stay here every time we return!

This inn is right by the bay in a lovely setting. The room was clean and comfortable with good amenities, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There are a number of good restaurants in a walking distance, but it was nice to enjoy a continental breakfast at the inn, which was included. We highly recommend this inn.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are pretty much immaculate and the staff is so professional and welcoming. A breath of fresh air. I only had one night booked originally but an hour of being here I booked a 2nd night. A pleasant staff and cozy room will do that. I look forward to coming back in the future.
