"As this is a self check-in it would be most helpful to have a three-ring binder listed with items such as “how to” use the peat stove, turn on the hot water, turn on the heat, identify the wifi code. There is a binder filled with bar and restaurant info but what I recommend is different. I did email the host about the wifi code and he let me know it is posted near the TV. As I don’t watch TV I did not think to look in that space. I wanted to try the peat stove as on my Dingle Way walk I saw...

"House is a short drive to Killarney National Park, and in a rural area. There’s a small convenience store right next door, owned by the home owner. The owner, himself, is very welcoming. If we are ever to travel to the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to book again."

"We had a great week at Bedrock cottage, we were able to easily access the Beara Peninsula as well as other magnificent parts of the Ring of Kerry. We especially enjoyed The Reeks and cycling on the roads in the area. The tearooms at Lord Brandon's cottage were really great (cash only). We had a fantastic time."

"This property location was great. Easy to walk into town and running trails near. Easy to drive the Beara, Ring of Kerry and Dingle peninsulas from this location. The property manager “Heather” was awesome. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. She gave us suggestions on what to visit and see which we did and would not have if it wasn’t for her. The town of Kenmare is definitely a “ Tidy Town”. Our only concern was parking: the one space provided is quite narrow, and requires that you either back in or out across a busy two lane road. your car in, or backbitbout"

"This cottage was an Ireland dream come true. The house was just like a Hallmark movie. Super quaint, quiet with amazing views. It was very clean and the accommodations were spot on."

"Mostly comfortable. A bit cold. Not sure if 6 people would be comfortable. Paying for electric at the end is unusual. Remote and very rural. Beautiful surroundings. One of the showers is really good. Kitchen is mostly well equipped. Not sure if i would stay there again. Local bar is really friendly. Good for local touring."

"The property was warm and comfortable and in a quiet location about a mile and a half outside of Kenmare. Not really walkable because the road was busy and there was no path. We had a problem with internet connectivity which was sorted straight away. The property was airy and neutral in decor, but could do with touching up in places. On the whole it was perfect for our needs and I would definitely use it again."

"This property was perfect! We were a group of 5, so we utilized the apart hotel. It was spacious and clean, allowed us to have communal space and private sleeping. Dining at the restaurant was fantastic. Jason was our server and he was amazing. Food was great, only a short 10 min walk to the Muckross Abbey and a breath taking lake. Hotel views bolstered mountains in the morning. Wonderful staff, we did not have time to utilize the spa but it looked beautiful. "

"The property management manager was very helpful and responsive.However the property is on the outskirts of Killarney and a 20 min walk in case you are going out at night in the town."
