"Well equipped, comfortable and homely, with everything you might need for a break away. In beautiful countryside with excellent walks straight from the door, whilst only 5 minutes or so walk to the village. We definitely hope to return some time."

"Bank Cottage was a great spot for our family to stay the weekend. We loved the spot on the river and the garden was safe for our little ones. We didn’t have to worry about anyone falling in the Severn! The cooking and dining facilities were fine and we enjoyed the sitting area overlooking the patio. The sitting room at the back of the property was rather dark and we didn’t use it but I can imagine it being a cosy space in winter. As mentioned by a previous guest there was a smell of oil/fuel...

" Being Yanks from the west coast of the USA we have always loved the Cotswolds. Where better than Cirencester to spend a quiet month getting to know the area and people.This is a Village with lots of beauty and history to savor. "We loved this place as soon as we set our eyes on it, both from the outside and the inside. Plenty of space in all rooms and everything else that you'd need, from wood to make a fire to a few biscuits and tea. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Lovely grounds too. Not too far from the hills for walking or visiting nearby villages and towns. Plenty of local walks too. The pub up the road, The Butchers Arms serves excellent food as well as drinks. All in all, an excellent place to stay. Thank you. "

"Highly recommend this lovely little stone cottage. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Our host, Emily, was very helpful with info about travelling to and from the town and responded to enquiries quickly. Winchcombe is a great place from which to hike and there was lots of info in the cottage about local trails. "

"This cottage was beautifully appointed and great for ease of access to Cheltenham. Note that it is on a main road, so there is some traffic noise. The bedrooms were not made for tall people due to the ceiling angle, but I didn’t have any issues at 5’2 :)."

"Very easy to find reception as it's all well sign posted. Checking in was very easy and they were ready for us early. Staff were very friendly and informative. Plenty of information leaflets of what's around and what amenities are withig the hotel and where. Dining options, booking advised.
