"We flew into Dublin, drove to Nevins in around 3 hours and spent one night here to start our trip south on the Wild Atlantic Way. Lovely authentic Irish Inn with a great little restaurant and live music on some nights. We enjoyed meeting Bertie and Bella - the food service robots that are catlike and enjoy a tickle around the ears. The owners are on site and enjoy meeting the guests which is a treat. It's scenic with comfortable beds, nice bathrooms with all amenities you would expect at this price point. Lots of parking across the road and a nice patio for dining when weather permits. "

"The room was awesome and large. Lots of space to be comfortable. Very clean and all the amenities, small refrigerator. Breakfast was delicious, Mary was so nice and helpful. Dinner was very good. "

"There were no instructions about how to turn on or adjust heat or hot water. Some dishes were not clean. Kitchen was missing some essentials (no coffee maker, no salad spinner, no covered casserole dish, no salad bowl,. But the washing machine leaked badly, gushing water.The drying rack was broken.This well situated cottage has three bedrooms and once things are fixed and the house instructions are you improved it could be ok. A table broken since October has not been fixed 6 months later.I have never offered a negative review but this house was not up to anyone's standards. "

"This is the best stay I ever had: gorgeous breakfast, big room with view on sea and mountains, you hear the sea all night you see the stars at night. You have a desk and a round table- we stay 4 days- a double and a single bed. We dreamed looking at the sea when it was too bad to go out, we could walk to the beach when it was nice. The only thing is the check-in: it is between 2 and 5 pm if not arranged otherwise but we didn’t know that all places to eat were closed at 5 pm - we were outside the normal tourist period- so we were quiet hungry the first night!"

"My husband and I stayed here on a day we went to Achill Island. We only stayed one night here. They have a bar and restaurant attached to the hotel, you do have to make a reservation but we were able to easily make a reservation when we arrived to the hotel. We are in the bar area and the food was very good. The view was beautiful. At night our room got pretty chilly and we weren’t able to figure out how to turn the heat up but we were okay. In the morning we decided to sleep in and missed the complimentary breakfast from 8-10. We did however get a pot of coffee to share a little after 10 which was perfect. The showers were very nice and they do provide a shampoo/body wash combination but did not provide conditioner in the room, this was not a big deal for us as I had some of my own. Overall this is a nice hotel and I would go back and stay again. "

"We had a great stay at The Cliff House. Great big room right across from the beach. The restaurant is good too, breakfast and dinner. Achill Island is stunning, not to be missed. "
