"Room was very clean. Hotel interior was very impressive a beautiful marble staircase. The reason I scored a little low was was the exterior of the hotel definitely need some maintenance. It is really showing its age. I couldn't really comment positively on the staff because there wasn't any. This is due to this being a unique hotel and having an electronic booking system where there is no reception but you do everything online. And this also includes getting your barcode for your hotel room....

"Family owned, amazing stay and gracious hosts. The co-owner, (Manuel) was helpful planning our stay and was so excited to show us his hotel. From the unique Grotto, its history to the history of Lacarno. His English was impeccable and we felt very welcome and relaxed. "
