excellent location, easily walkable to the town centre along the lake side. Room was clean and comfortable, and parking simple and straightforward.

We were three nights at Ibis Lugano (4-7.10.24). Second time already in this Hotel. Extreme clean, efficient and orderly. A big compliment to the Breakfast Team! (three young ladies, one from Ecuador!), always friendly, super attentive, active and forthcoming! Congratulations! ( the breakfast buffet itself excellent quality and price!). Also the staff doing the cleaning and order in the rooms, Room 126, always smiling , very discreet and competent . We were surprised by the cold weather in Lugano this time, and we found the room sllightly cold. (Heating not in function yet....?). In case of another trip to Lugano, we would no doubt come back to Ibis Lugano, and we would certainly recommend it to other people. Many thanks, Saludos, and best wishes for everybody there!

Da dieses Hotel mit dem IBIS Budget zusammenhängt, war ich überrascht, als ich das Zimmer sah! Ein sehr einfaches Zimmer ohne Kühlschrank und ein Badezimmer aus dem Nichts! Leider war das WLAN den ganzen Tag und die ganze Nacht außer Betrieb. Das war sehr ärgerlich, da ich auf das Internet angewiesen war. Das Frühstücksbuffet hingegen ist für diese Hotelkategorie sehr gut und umfangreich. Das war ein positiver Aspekt unseres Aufenthalts. Ich hatte das Hotel mit Parkplatz gebucht, doch vor Ort wurde mir überraschend mitgeteilt, dass ich extra für den Parkplatz zahlen müsse. Der Parkplatz in der eigenen Tiefgarage war mit 23 Franken pro Tag eher teuer. Aus Sicht des Kundenservice ist das sehr unfreundlich. Es sollte klar kommuniziert werden, welche Kosten anfallen, und ein funktionierendes WLAN sollte selbstverständlich sein.
