"We enjoyed this fabulous home in December to celebrate a family friendly 40th birthday. The house had plenty of room, beautiful views and all the amenities. We had four families-each adult couple had their own room on the main floors and the children all fit perfectly in the nicely finished basement. There were plenty of towels, blankets and pillows. The kitchen and bathrooms had all the necessities. We also enjoyed the nearby local breweries/restaurants that had lots of room for our big group. "

"My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay here. We took advantage of all the amenities—the pizza oven, projector screen, and sauna. The hot tub was tricky to heat up and took about 5 hours to get to 85 degrees, felt like a warm bath on a January night."

The property itself was really nice. It was just the right size for a couple and it had a grill which was a plus. "We came to this property after a week in DC and a few days on the Eastern Shore. Place was amazing and restful. We picked this place since it was close to President Monroe’s house; MountPelier (sp) - Dolley and James Madison’s plantation. We wander the countryside so beautiful.
