"This was a beautiful property off the beaten path. Exactly as described. Nothing better than waking up to the sounds of the jungle and the waves from the ocean. Despite being completely open to nature, the property was well kept and clean. The onsite staff kept to himself for the most part, but was very helpful when we had questions. "We had a wonderful time in Carate, and this house was the ideal home base for all of our activities. We saw scarlet macaws and toucans regularly and were fortunate enough to see a tapir pointed out by the very helpful property manager and tour guide, Yeri.
