"If you love nature and want a peaceful holiday away from the crowds, this is the place for you. The setting is tranquil, and you are not overlooked, so there is total privacy. Walking trails go through this tiny village and we tried a few. Stargazing at night is brilliant thanks to lack of light pollution. "

"Very happy with our stay in this property. Although basic it was adequately furnished for our needs. Aldea blanco is perfectly placed for beach or exploring the island. Aldi, Lidl and many other stores close by. Airport 10 minutes away. Ignore previous comments regarding dogs barking. We stayed 3 weeks and this was never an issue. Before leaving we didn’t hesitate to book for next winter"

"If you're looking for a place to recharge your batteries this is it. Took a bit of finding (keep going to end of the road when you turn onto Camino del Chamizo) and the roads are very steep, but was worth the effort. The house is well equipped and spacious. The views from the outside area are spectacular. Would definitely recommend a stay here and we will hopefully be back."

"If you want a quiet stay in the mountains, in a beautifully restored old house, then this is for you. I loved this place, especially once I got the fire going and a good meal with wine. "The Finca Delicias are a small group of converted farm buildings located in a banana plantation near the beach and rock swimming pools of Alcala. The house was well presented, creatively furnished, and well equipped with generous amounts of space indoors and out. Incredible views of the ocean with the sun setting behind La Gomera each evening. The overall sense of tranquility and privacy was a welcome change from Costa Adeje."

"Booked for my son and myself for a quick break. Communication was very prompt and professional from the host. Access instructions received in good time and detailed. We arrived early and the host let us know the minute it was ready.lovely and clean. So quiet it was great. Easy travel to all the places we wanted to go to. "A wonderfully characterful place to stay , charmingly decorated with stunning views over to La Gomera. It's on a peaceful banana plantation and a short walk to the sea where there are tidal pools and beaches for swimming. The nearby (unspoilt) town of Alcalá is a pleasant 15 minute walk along the coast. A perfect place to unwind. The hosts provide you with free bananas, papaya and even shared organic vegetables from their garden."

"the villa was part of a small complex on a Banana plantation and had been converted to a high standard with generous rooms, double beds, good showers, kitchen etc. The outdoors area was well set out with plenty of private room and a small plunge pool for when the temperature soars. The complex is a drive away from anywhere and there is no wandering to the nearest shops or beach - you will need to get in your car for everythng. "This resort is in a quiet location apart from the airplanes that pass over it. Staff are friendly and welcoming wanting to engage in conversation with you. The pool is very clean and well maintained. Our studio had recently been refurbished to a really good and comfortable standard. Other rooms are currently in. "Despite the large size of the property, the grounds were clean and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our room (489) was excellent and we would request it in the future. Dining was everything promised. The seafood was excellent. Sea salt-encrusted sea bass is a MUST! We had a minor issue that one of the property managers, Manuel more than addressed. He promptly corrected the matter and extended a beautiful, private seating with the sunset in the background with champagne and rose pedals all around us. Great property and great location. We will be coming back to Ritz, Abama. "
