"Check in was a little disappointing. Original 3rd floor room replaced with 2nd floor even though paid extra for upgrade. Champagne wasn't in room for the surprise arrival or bags. Apparently in level 3 room. So took the ambience & celebration out of the special event. One can not take back the memory. Was very disappointed in receptions attitude as well, even when tipped. "Every time we go to Bendigo we stay here ! It definitely ticks all the boxes ! Clean , beautiful rooms , friendly staff , and a reasonable price , actually an excellent price considering the quality of the rooms , they are very modern , fresh and clean . On our last stay we had an unexpected visit from a local friend she arrived at 9.30am and talked for 45 minutes and we were late checking out of the room , and it was a nice surprise that the motel staff weren’t banging on our door telling us...
