"I loved A16. It is an ideal spot to start a trip to Tokyo. It was very easy to get to, coming from Narita Airport and there are LOTS of good, cheap dining options within a very short walk. While not necessarily the closest place to tourist spots, it is very close to Asakusa-bashi train station, making it very easy to get around Tokyo. "cool hostel, the workers are really great, helpful and nice. The shower room smells a bit moldy, so just keep that in mind. They do have a nice kitchen area with a tv, if u just need a place to crash its okay. my pillowcase was not clean thank god i had brought my own. Had to pay 200 yen for a towel. "Located near Kuramae Subway Station. Easy Acess from and to Haneda or Narita Airport. Property was just as described, but my husband wasn't too impressed with the lighting inside; it was a bit dark for him. Shared bathroom area was decent. A full sized mirror behind the door inside the room would be a nice touch. Ear plugs were provided as the sound proof was poor. You could hear conversation in the hallway. For budget travelers, this hostel serves its purpose. "

"Fantastic location, minutes to the subway and a few steps around the corner to Nakamise and Senso-ji temple. Clean, compact - very, only downside is the rooms are not soundproofed and with the bathrooms located outside of the rooms, those coming in late or leaving early can be heard. Ok if people are considerate, but in our case they were not. However we would stay again because of the amazing location, right in the thick of it, and a women only hostel."
