"This lovely lake house felt more updated and larger than the pictures suggest for our Fall trip! There was plenty of space for our 8-person, multi-generational family gathering, and the layout was very conducive to both together-time and breaks. We enjoyed the large dining room table for a big family dinner cooked in the high-end kitchen, after which we retired to the great room, which was more spacious than expected, with a perfect lake view. "Our family stayed for a week. It was very conformable and well equipped. The location is great - it is very close to the airport and a 10 min drive from major attractions. We enjoyed strolling in the quiet neighborhood and our dog loved the huge fenced back yard. We were there during a rare heat wave and found the window units not that effective to cool the house. Once the heat wave passed it was very pleasant. We plan to stay there again in our next visits to Albany."

"When we realized there was no talking the kids out of planning their wedding closer to either family’s home in Connecticut we needed to find a place that would feel like home. A place roomy enough where family could gather, have meals together, laugh and play games. This home offered all that. The foliage during our stay was a bonus. "

"We were taking our college kid back to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy and this house was convenient - an easy 20 minute drive to Troy. The house is big with a good kitchen and an outdoor patio and large tree-shaded yard. We also took day trips to Albany and Saratoga which were easy trips from here. There’s a grocery store, wine and bottle shop and pizza and ice cream shops nearby. It’s secluded and quiet. "

"The room is as described and shown in the photo and as mentioned in earlier comments the fence has a gap so it’s still a leash required yard, but they have designed a privacy passage between the room and the bathroom so concerns about that have been eliminated. We had trouble with the key box but help arrived quickly when we got there, and they provided everything needed for a lovely stay with my two pups. "

"Property was in good shape, though I recommend the owner consider refinishing the tub, the current paint job is not so good. The location is too far from downtown Troy to easily walk but is an easy drive. The building has multiple units and finding the right one was a bit tricky, but the place was clean and well-kept overall and parking was easy, I would stay again."
