"This was the first bed & breakfast type place that I’ve stayed at so I was not a fan of the ‘community’ vibes the place has - I like my own space and the common area was pretty small with everyone that was also there. I expected a small room but it was smaller than I thought it would be. A folding chair or two in the room would have been nice. The wifi was great, the dining options and grocery store within walking distance was also a huge benefit. I would stay again, but only for a night or 2. "

"There were 6 adults and one 16 year old staying at the property. The facilities were perfect for our group. The hot tub was just what was needed at the end of a long, cold day. Girdwood area is beautiful and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Great location. Next time we go, I'm going to check the opening of the ski resort just minutes away from the rental. It wasn't open when we were in Alaska. It opened days after we left to come home. Beautiful state and location. ...

"Chalet #5 was generally clean, somewhat updated with good windows; furnishings were dated but in good repair and comfortable. The overall finishes were a hodgepodge, no cohesive decorating theme. Good lighting. Bathtub and hot tub were both clean. Nice dishwasher and clothes washer with adequate supplies of detergent. Comfortable bed in master. Areas of concern: Light bulb out in refrigerator. Upstairs bed was creaking which could be heard downstairs. Cobwebs in the master bedroom and above...
