It’s pet friendly and the road is nice for walking your pet and you can get on the trail down to bird creek nearby. We skied Alyeska and it was about a 14 min drive. "Place was nice and had all the things needed for 2 people. Kitchen supplies were better than most places with all upgrades pots and pans and utensils. Ladder might be a problem for some getting up to the loft for some. Only complaint is the door code was malfunctioning and had to wait for a back up person to come and open the door with a key from the key lock box. 1.5 hours to get in. Owner does not need to have a 10 digit code to open a door. In all my travels 4 to 5 code is efficient. And male...

"Cabin was clean and cozy, very comfortable for two people. Close enough to Anchorage but still felt secluded. Saw a moose on a side road near cabin. We would stay here again if ever back in the area. "
