"Pleasantly surprised to be greeted at check-in by two helpful and welcoming young ladies (was expecting an anonymous self-checkin). Room was clean and quiet, bed comfy and TV available. Plenty of sockets and enough space to hang my clothes (2 hangers). Ideal for short city stay."

"I’ve stayed in a few inexpensive hotels over the years. This ranks among the best. Start with the negative. Room not quite ready on arrival but they did allow me to leave my case. One towel was slightly damp but this wasn’t an issue. I’ve never been expected to pay extra for my tea, coffee and kettle. Positive’s. The reception were very friendly and helpful but also managed to be professional. The room was prepared very well. The housekeeping staff were obviously working to a high standard the ones I met were very pleasant. The bed was comfortable and the shower, although basic, was easy to use and effective. Apart from the lack of tea making equipment everything that you expect was there. The lighting was very well done which may seem s small point but made the room feel more pleasant, as did the efficient heating. One more point. The hotel is quite well located and seemed quiet on my visit. I’ve never stayed in any of this chains hotels. They are high on my list now though. Recommend."
