"Although we were aware that the hotel was closing we still expected 4 star accommodation as that is what we paid for. The pool and terrace area were in a very bad state of disrepair and the pool area unusable. We asked for an upgrade to a sea view as there road works at the front of the building and therefore noisy but were told ( 6 hrs after asking and having to ask again)that no rooms were available although the hotel was clearly far from busy. "This beautiful historic hotel was one of the highlights of my trip to Spain and Gibraltar. The staff service and hotel amenities were excellent. I can’t say enough about the room and view! I could see the cable cars head up to the top of the Rock from my room balcony. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others!"

"Hotel located is in nice area and walkable to everywhere. Quest and clean , small rooms ,really outdated and not much technology, I think renovation will help this hotel to look great in the future if owners take care of it . It’s pool on the side and bar , thank you "
