"We loved our stay. The property is beautiful and very comfortable. We loved the views of the sunrise over the lake. The house has all you will need for your stay including condiments, spices, and sweet goodies to make if you want to cook. There was no dishwasher, but we didn’t mind that. The fact that it was a historic jail was an added bonus. "

"Very quiet and cute place. The only thing we would have changed was having the option to have less light in the mornings. Either a shade or Black out curtains. I enjoy sleeping in when on vacation and it was very bright in the morning. Also.. glass on the front door made it to where we didn’t feel like we had complete privacy. "Great location within walking distance to downtown. Three beds/bedrooms. Clean and well-stocked. Easy check in and check out process. Comfortably sleeps 6. Suggestions: Add a few chairs to the front porch, add a pullout couch to the living room, and maybe even add a twin bed to the laundry room. Very spacious!"

"Well, the sign in the front yard says, "Welcome to the lake house." My question is where's the lake? The outside was very terrible. The back porch mentioned had so many limbs and leaves on it, we had to kick them off to open the door. The garbage can was already half full. The dock was so far away and down a very steep hill. Not recommended for older folks. We had to stop and rest 3 times before we got to the cabin. Was supposed to stay until Saturday but left on Wednesday morning. Noone told us...
