My son and his friend would ramble around in the afternoons and they would tell me she was always kind to them and offering them items to make their stay more comfortable. "Everything was as stated in the listing. Was peaceful and had plenty of room. Our son and daughter in law came and joined us and was supposed to leave on Sunday but was enjoying themselves too much to leave. They ended up staying until Tuesday morning. The lights in the kitchen were very dim, but other than that, it was worth it."

"My sister and I get away a couple times a year - usually at the lake. This place is quiet and comfortable. They provide praline pecans, chocolate covered pecans, all the makings for smores, coffee, variety of teas, etc. The incline going down to the house and coming back up was rough on my sister who has back problems. I had no idea magnolia trees grew so tall. Beautiful deck but you can't see the water for the trees. Wonderful place for a quiet get-a-way to rest and read."
