"This is our third visit to Estrella del Mar and the second time staying at Sherry’s and Fred’s place. Words are inadequate to describe the gratitude we have for yet another rejuvenating experience that in all respects fuels the soul. The condo is top notch: spotlessly clean, well equipped, gorgeous ocean view, and tranquil pools. Most mornings started with coffee on the patio watching the dolphins and pelicans play along the waves. We loved our daily walks along the endless, quiet beach that stretches for miles in both directions. Our visit to nearby Stone Island discovered a hidden gem offering beach restaurants with authentic, fresh, Mexican cuisine and entertainment right at the water's edge. For variety, we also bought a one day pass to the new Dreams resort next door and had an all inclusive, fun time to remember. Most evenings we BBQ'd and relaxed at the condo taking in the spectacular sunsets but a couple of times we strolled across the golf course to Las Villas: a smaller, local hotel where we had the best surf and turf ever! We absolutely love it at EDM and hope to come back every year! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Linda and Ian - Vancouver, BC"

"The staff were incredible! So kind and helpful. The food was amazing - lots of choices for restaurants. The rooms are beautiful and every one overlooks the ocean. My family loved this resort. The only thing lacking was the nightly entertainment and they needed more chairs around the pool."

"I like that the hotel is walking distance to amny other boardwalk, restaurants, bars, shops and cafes. "

"I like how quite and clean the hotel is and how safe you feel in the property. The only down side is that is far away from the city but if you want a quite place this is your hotel. "

"The condo is fantastic - great amenities throughout. A perfect place for two people to enjoy a week of sun and golfing. However, the property management company ("Partner Host") was very poor. Had it not been for the on-site concierge getting in touch with the property owner we may have had to rent a hotel room for the night. Requests for names, ages (ages, really??), make/model of rental car were made while we were in flight, setting a deadline that was impossible to meet as it was prior to us landing. This information was apparently necessary before providing us with access information. Even though they stated they would be keeping an eye out for our response we never received anything for several hours. Thankfully as mentioned previously, the on site concierge put us in touch with the property owner who was extremely helpful in getting us into the condo and continued to follow up with multiple times throughout the week. The owner is awesome! If a new management company is put in charge of the check in process there should be NO ISSUES with staying at this unit."
