"First thing we realised when we turned up was that you are not staying on a farm but in a characterful old farmhouse. You have to park on the road outside but it is off the main road and is very quiet. Jan, is a wonderful host, welcoming, friendly, and a really good cook. The breakfasts and the one evening meal we had were excellent - and better than the ones we had in the upmarket hotel we stayed in afterwards. If you like good food then consider staying here. "5 stars are not enough for the George and Dragon - the absolute best care and hospitality can be found here! Such a gem in a beautiful village with so much history. "We had a lovely few days at Dale House. Dominique is a wonderful host and a skilful chef. We had a memorable dinner one evening and our cooked breakfast each morning was a highlight. Dominique was also very accommodating with our dog which made all the difference.
