"This place was a little piece of heaven. Immaculate, cozy, well, appointed in a lovely hamlet with a river across the street, a nearby sandwich shop and the Red Lion pub a stones throw away. We stayed for four nights and had bucolic walks to Grassington along the river and to the Bolton abbey for another fine walk. The Dales are magic and there are plenty of pictaresque scenes to greet. We didn’t want to leave."

It is in a great area to travel to Windermere, Ambleside or really anywhere else in the Lake District. The only slight let down was the spa; you have to pay extra for spa access even after paying for a treatment. Additionally the details around access times & costs varied depending on which staff you spoke to."
