"This is a lovely boutique hotel, located in the heart of Bath. The neighborhood is ideal, as it is residential yet bordering the city centre. The accommodations are a beautiful blend of English charm and modern style. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. The bar/restaurant serves delicious cuisine. Loved this place and hope to return. "

"The hotel was more modern than expected, and this was mainly due to the pictures shown online. We had both also thought that the location was somewhat more remote, perhaps in a wooded area, but it is actually on the edge of an housing estate! The staff at the hotel were polite, and nothing was too much for them. A special mention to the bar/waitress young lady with the pink hair braids (unfortunately I can't remember her name), who made us feel especially welcome.There was a good selection of food at breakfast and poached eggs were available on request. We ate in the restaurant for one evening meal which was also good. We chose not to have our room serviced, which entitled us to a free drink at the bar. However, we later found out that it was only one drink between the two of us, and when ordered, I was told it was only one for the whole stay, not per night. I don't think I would choose this option again! The room was comfortable and had everything needed. Just one thing I would point out is that as you enter the room, there is a rather large shelf. We both walked into it on several occasions and both of us had bruising as a result. There was room to move the shelf at least another foot away from the door, and I think this would be a good idea. I had a massage booked, which was cancelled, due to agency staff not wanting to work after 4pm even though my appt was booked for 5pm! They offered me the following morning, but we were leaving, so I had a refund and two free drinks "

"We were able to leave our car and head into the city before check in. Check in was smooth and room was fine. The gentleman serving at the bar was exceptional. He was very welcoming and made conversation with each guest which is a plus for guest. Our room was very hot so slept with windows open and had no issues with road noise considering how close to main road the hotel is. The location is really good with a bus stop opposite so you don't need to walk up the steep hill after a day out exploring. "
