Evening meals were of good quality homely style, in big portions. Loved the little touches like the complimentary truffles and sweet wine - plus I have never encountered rose petals in the loo before. There are 2 rooms per cottage unit but I was never conscious of the people in the adjacent room. This is a lovely place...

"More staff is needed in The Bell Tavern. Staff were excellent but were not able to keep up with the volume. Due to the lack of staff at the Bell Tavern, the food often came out over an hour after we ordered. Neither the TV in the living room or the bedroom worked. Overall though the stay was wonderful and the location is beautiful. "
