"Can’t recommend enough - the location is fantastic (despite the uphill walk on the way back from town) for visiting, the rooms are super spacious and clean, the breakfast has a good range of options and price wise it’s such good value for money. Above all though, the staff genuinely care and will go above and beyond to help - I want to give a special shout out to “Andreia” who really helped my family and I out on several occasions, it seems she works all hours because she’s always at the desk! I hope she sees this because she was truly wonderful at her job and didn’t care we asked so many questions! No need to look elsewhere, you can book this hotel and I promise you’ll be pleased."

"We stayed in 3 bedrooms villa. It's modern, big, clean, & comfortable place to spend with friends & family. The complex has beautiful beach view, clean & safe. The staff are nice & professional. The buffet food is excellent. The specialty restaurant is hard to get a reservation since it's limited space. I wish the resort tells & gives the guest option to special restaurant prior our arrival. We like the quiet cute town of Machico. We worked with the hotel staff to extend our stay 4 more days!! Many nice restaurants in walking distance, It about 20 euros to get Uber to Funchal for tourist shopping. "

"The hotel is in a great location, with a walkable area and a lot of restaurants around it. We stayed in a room with pool view and were actually able to walk out the room and go straight to the pool. There also was an ocean view from our room, although we never got down to the beach. The staff was friendly and all the amenities were fine. Free parking was limited, especially since it was also being used by the locals. "
