Nestled in the north of the island in a quiet fishing village, the hotel is about an hour’s drive from the airport. Unlike the busier towns and cities in Phú Quốc, this area offers untouched natural beauty. There are trails through the national park and dirt tracks leading to pristine, protected beaches—arguably some of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. The Peppercorn is a solid 3-star hotel in terms of facilities and services, but for me, it felt like a 5-star experience. The remote, raw beauty of this location is unmatched, and the staff’s genuine happiness creates a lovely environment. Every morning, we enjoyed gorgeous sunrises, sometimes practicing yoga while watching the calm waters. On most days, the sea is perfect for snorkeling, though it can get a little rough with the warm northeast winds. Even then, it’s a beautiful sight, and stronger swimmers could still enjoy it. I had a wonderful time at the Peppercorn. Everything about it felt real, from the natural beauty to the heartfelt hospitality. I can’t wait to return."
