"Desde luego muy muy bien ubicado. A menos de un minuto del metro de Sol . Cerca de tiendas de conveniencia, restaurantes, comida etc. La única pega que yo podría tener era que después de ducharnos, el baño queda mojado, y no puedes entrar con calcetines. Dado que la ducha no tiene mampara es completamente abierto. "

"Super convenient spot, it's within walking distance to pretty much everything. Had two different reservations and both times felt really safe and both rooms were great. Staff was also really helpful. Definitely staying here again on my next visit to Madrid. "

"Woohoo rooms chueca was a lovely place to stay in Madrid. Many, many food options near by that were all great. It was a few minutes walk to busses that will take you all over the city quickly. Look forward to staying again in the future! "

"We didn’t have a code for check in until 4:00 pm. So we couldn’t enter to the apartment until 4:30. I had to call the apartments 5 times and they didn’t give me the code until the last minute. We were waiting at 40 degrees with 2 kids during 2 hours. I used the chat provided in the app and they didn’t help me at all, they told me to call to Hotels.com. "Este no es un Hotel sino un departamento que rentan por habitaciones. Ofrecen en hoteles.com la mejor habitacion del apartamento pero al llegar te la cambian por una mas pequeña y sencilla sin baño privado. Le rentan la misma habitacion a varios huespedes y al final se configura la estafa que repiten ciclicamente. Ofrecen lavanderia y no la dejan usar. Luego se hace reclamacion y no aceptan lonque hacen. Muy mal lugar nada recomendado. La habitacion tiene mala la cerradura y se hace insegura....

"The only issue I had was checking in. It was not difficult, but lengthy. We didn't have the correct app, or WiFi which made it a bit difficult. If your phone dies while you are out, you won't get in. Secondly you can't get in the room until exactly 3:00. The room was very nice, clean, quiet, and was a short walk to the train. It was my first experience with self check in and would do it again now that I know what to do. Would be nice if it was easier to check in."

"The property is very nice and the location is great. The rooms were clean and spacious with good amenities. The manager/owner was extremely helpful and provided all necessary information about checkin and location before. I would highly recommend Cálamo to anyone planning to stay in Madrid."

"Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful. Good buffet breakfast. You can store your food in the mini-bar fridge. Microwave oven in the room. No carpet in the room. "My new favourite hotel in Madrid…. And there are a lot to choose from. The location is just perfect , taxis everywhere, subway near by and a safe interesting walk to most central points of interest. The rooms were comfy and clean, the bathrooms were well thought out and really decent water pressure in bathes and shower . The breakfast is one of the best i have had the pleasure to enjoy and all the staff from the front office people to the room cleaners are delightful, i will definitely stay there again "

"This hotel was absolutely amazing. The location is near almost everything. The stores and restaurants are just a few steps away. The metro is extremely close too. The breakfast had such delicious foods and lots of variety. Not only that but the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel so welcomed. We went to Madrid as a birthday trip for my sister and the staff made sure to make her day extra special without us even mentioning it. During breakfast they brought out some cake and a candle. Then once we got back to our room from exploring they brought a special surprise to our room which included Spanish candy, wine and a note. This hotel is one of the best I’ve ever stayed at and have no complaints. Whenever I come back to Madrid I will no doubt be staying here. "
