"It was a nice property but needs maintenance , the bed covers are full of nylon so you sweat a lot , they need to check the pipes because sometimes there is sewage smell "

"Great location for a short family trip as you are in the center of everything. We got room 15 and it was very quiet and allowed our 8 month old and 4 year old to sleep well. They also offered us a good quality crib."

"Modern room. Very quiet. Great lighting. Loved the bunk beds for our daughters. We slept great. Close to everything. A little hidden, but front desk is very responsive helping us into the building (messaged via WhatsApp). Overall, excellent value for location and room quality. We'll stay here again for sure. "

"We didn’t have a code for check in until 4:00 pm. So we couldn’t enter to the apartment until 4:30. I had to call the apartments 5 times and they didn’t give me the code until the last minute. We were waiting at 40 degrees with 2 kids during 2 hours. I used the chat provided in the app and they didn’t help me at all, they told me to call to Hotels.com. "Este no es un Hotel sino un departamento que rentan por habitaciones. Ofrecen en hoteles.com la mejor habitacion del apartamento pero al llegar te la cambian por una mas pequeña y sencilla sin baño privado. Le rentan la misma habitacion a varios huespedes y al final se configura la estafa que repiten ciclicamente. Ofrecen lavanderia y no la dejan usar. Luego se hace reclamacion y no aceptan lonque hacen. Muy mal lugar nada recomendado. La habitacion tiene mala la cerradura y se hace insegura....

"The only issue I had was checking in. It was not difficult, but lengthy. We didn't have the correct app, or WiFi which made it a bit difficult. If your phone dies while you are out, you won't get in. Secondly you can't get in the room until exactly 3:00. The room was very nice, clean, quiet, and was a short walk to the train. It was my first experience with self check in and would do it again now that I know what to do. Would be nice if it was easier to check in."

"The property is very nice and the location is great. The rooms were clean and spacious with good amenities. The manager/owner was extremely helpful and provided all necessary information about checkin and location before. I would highly recommend Cálamo to anyone planning to stay in Madrid."
