"We had a fantastic week's stay at the Porto AS 1829 Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable; the staff were extremely friendly and spoke perfect English; and the location was fantastic. Our bathroom could have done with a little maintenance - there was a bit of a leak at the bottom of the shower head, and from the sink's cold water tap - but this didn't detract from our stay. We didn't opt for the breakfast as it was a little out of our price range, and unfortunately didn't have lunch or dinner at the hotel, but the restaurant looked clean and inviting. We would highly recommend this beautiful hotel in the heart of the historic city centre!"
