"Gaia is across the river from Porto; a short ride to downtown but away from the throngs of tourists. The beach and beach restaurants are a five minute walk from the house. Joaquim was a wonderful host and the accommodations felt like a five star hotel. we would definitely stay here again."

"This is a lovely rustic property with a beautiful outdoor area including plenty of seating areas and an adequate sized pool. A car is needed. "We really wanted to enjoy this property, however the property wasn’t what was advertised so we could not. This property is a single family home turned into two separate rentals. Both renting parties share parking, outdoor spaces, and pool. While the host was prompt with their responses, we did not get a welcome feeling from them. "What a wonderful stay we had! We had a most amazing week in this newly built house, where all our stresses melted away. The house is as described, comfortable furniture (the double bed was so comfortable, we slept very well!) and we had everything we needed. The room was spacious, spotless and newly furnished. Kitchen was essentially fully equipped. No washer/dryer in the unit but that depends on your needs. Twins beds were comfortable.
