"This was my first hotel in Japan. Great value for the quality of the stay. The location has plenty to offer in a walkable distance, including close proximity to the Shinkansen (bullet train). I staid here to be able to visit Daihonzan Eiheiji. The bus to Eiheiji temple is at the transportation center where the Shinkansen and other trains depart. "

"A wonderful stay. The morning service at the temple was a profound experience. The introduction to zazen was great, though Japanese speakers will get most out of this - ditto the lecture before morning service. "The room was fairly large for Japan, and comfortable, I was on the top floor, non smoking comfort floor. And the breakfast was good. Staff was super.
