"We had such a great stay at this property! It was an easy walk from the train station, and to the main streets as well. Staff was so kind and informative. They provided us with yukatas that kept us very warm while walking around. Staying here also gave us a pass to all the onsens! We also opted for the breakfast option, and it was a beautiful, traditional spread. Loved this hotel and area - what a great experience!"

The staff even helped to sort out our luggage delivery to the next accommodation in another city. Our hostess Matsuri was sweet, polite and gracious. The property itself is beautiful and exudes an old-world charm, and our room with in-room onsen is such a treat. The meals we had were also delicious and thoughtfully prepared and presented. We had a lovely time at Nishimuraya Honkan and hope to return again."

"The hotel is right opposite the Amanohashidate station. The room was great and all should try the onsen. Staff speaks limited English but they are still very helpful and polite. The buffet breakfast is wonderful. Check out the spread of Japanese seafood items and the fish miso soup. Do plan for your dinner as many shops are closed after 5pm."
